What stands out: Casino Riva is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. For that reason, this is an offer that stands or falls with its terms.

The payment story in Belgium is quickly told: the deposit runs through Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and the payout runs to your bank account. Bancontact Pay is the name the Payconiq app has carried since March 2026.
Bancontact Pay caps at €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. Deposits land instantly; on your account it usually appears after one to three banking days, plus the time the operator itself takes to process the request.
Signup, KYC and support
Signing up looks roughly the same on every site: your details and a verification that precedes the payout. Keep an identity card and proof of residence ready.
Dutch or French is not guaranteed, and complaining to the Commission is not an option. Document your deposits yourself, even if the site does too; in a disagreement it comes down exclusively to those.

Player protection in numbers
On player protection, Belgium sits notably strictly by European standards and it is built that way on purpose. By default €200 per week per site may go in.
Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: whoever registers is barred everywhere immediately, online as well as offline. The entry point is the Gaming Commission. Casino, gaming hall and sports betting are 21-and-over since 1 September 2024; 18 still applies at the National Lottery alone. The check is automatic.
Short answers to recurring questions
- Does Casino Riva hold a Belgian licence?
Not legal in the Belgian sense: Casino Riva operates without a Gaming Commission licence. The list is public on gamingcommission.be. Status can change; re-check the list if in doubt.
- Does Bancontact work here?
Depositing with Bancontact works; the money comes back through your bank account. There is no route back to Bancontact — that goes via the bank. Turnaround depends mostly on the operator, not on Bancontact.
- Can I change my limit?
€200 per week per site by default. Lowering it is immediate; raising it needs a check and a delay. You set it in your account settings. Set it deliberately lower if you are unsure.
- Is the bonus worth it?
Look at the wagering requirement, the max cashout and the validity window — that is where it bites. Read the maximum cashout above all. Watch the maximum stake while clearing, too.
- Do I have to declare winnings?
No. In Belgium gambling winnings are untaxed for the player — the levy sits with the operator. No declaration is therefore needed. At a foreign operator your tax position may differ.
